This summer after graduation, I spent some time exploring some of my favorite European cities, and visiting new locations— my favorite being the Algarve Coast of Portugal!! We spent 5 days here, and honestly I could have done longer, there were so many unique areas to explore. We rented a car, which was so useful in exploring hidden beaches, driving to new towns along the coast every day, and getting from the Faro airport to our place in Lagos and driving to Lisbon on our last day. Some parts of the coast reminded me of beaches in California, with big cliffs and scenic drives all along the water. The beaches were some of the most beautiful I have ever visited, and most included a hike to reach them. I am still dreaming about the crystal clear salty water, laid back and kind people, cute beach towns, and memorable meals throughout our trip! Add this to your Mediterranean summer bucket list…
